Experts at breaking sieges and assaulting enemy fortifications, the Iron Warriors, led by the Primarch Perturabo, chose to ally with the Mad Warmaster during his heretical war-march towards Sol and the Emperor. Eternal rivals to the favored Imperial Fists and seemingly overlooked at every turn despite their sacrifices, the vicious rage and jealously that burned within Perturabo erupted into an inferno that led his Iron Warriors to decimate and burn entire worlds. Prone to replacing their missing limbs and body parts with mechanical ones, the threat of an Iron Warriors siege is enough to keep entire systems in check...though the warriors themselves prefer defiance so they can release their extreme wrath.

Dubbed the "Iron Circle", these Battle-automatas were designed by the Tech-Priests of Mars and upgraded by the top engineers of the Iron Warriors to defend their Primarch, Perturabo, from would-be assassins and saboteurs that threaten his plans. Equipped with new technology not available to the Imperium's Mechanicum, these robotic forces of nature are perfectly capable of enforcing their Primarch's will and execute his plans to assist the Warmaster in overthrowing the false Emperor.
